Out and about in Ybor City, just outside of Tampa Bay

My usual monday night cosists of driving to Ybor City with my friends Zach, Jose, Rebekah and Jessica and hanging out at a couple different places. It's fun to get out of Orlando whenever you get the chance as you can get away from all of the crazy tourists!!
The club we were at here is called The Castle, its an Industrial club that features Gothic and Rennaisance Decor. My friends like it for the Rock music choice, I just go to be social!!

For some reason I thought the nook or cave like section of this tree made for a good photo!
Here I am in jail...haha just kidding its a decoration but we all feel the need to get in it and take pictures every time we go!!

I HATE clowns!!!!!

So I was having lunch with my friend Rebekah the other day and we both spotted out of the corner of our eyes this hideous creature!! Aaahhh, it reminds me of Stephen King's IT. Please keep the clowns away from me!!

The Wonderful German Biergarten, my home away from home!!

These next few photos show me and some of my favorite German cast members. Recently their one year program with Disney ended so they are now back in Germany. About every other week we get about seven new cast members, and about the same amount leave once a month. Needless to say, it gets very sad to say goodbye to the cast leaving as we all get very attached to some of them!!

This is a shot of the inside of the German Biergarten where I work. It's a terrific atmoshpere and it makes you feel as though you are in the heart of Munich, Germany celebrating Octoberfest!! We serve authentic stein beers full of delicious German lagers, and my cast either wear lederhosen if you are a male or a durndull if your a female. I truly have met some wonderful people who I will hold close to my heart from the other side of the planet!!!

Vegas Memories

We went over to the Palazzo Resort for Breakfast, the Ranch Canyon Cafe is an organic restaurant. It was so good. The show out in the Palazzo Court(that's Palace in Italian) was amazing. These models with their eerie blue eyes and white skin put on a very good show.

They performed here, they had water streaming from their fingertips, amazing!!
Here's me, heading to dinner!!!

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"

Today my Mom, Corie, Camdyn and I decided to go tour the Mystery Castle at the foothills of South Mountain. It was built by Boyce Luther Gulley. He started it in 1929, and finished it in 1944. Mr. Gulley moved to Az from Seattle, Wa. The reality of dying was thrust upon him and not wanting to live a life of quiet desperation, he came here for soul searching and creativity.
In his heart he always remembered happier moments with his little princess daughter MaryLou, they shared many happy moments on the shore building sandcastles in the sand. As the tide would always wash away her castle, she asked her Daddy to build her a real castle that would never wash away!!!!
So here in the Az desert, he built her a native stone castle: 18 rooms with 13 fireplaces, a bar, a chapel, a room in between he lovingly nicknamed purgatory and many other unique rooms filled with southwestern touches and filled with antiques!!! Alot of the decorations have a Princess theme to it!!!!
Here is Mary Lou Gulley today, she is in her 80's and still conducts some of the tours herself!!! Today, she just said to our group that it was a fun place to call home. She did not even know it existed until her father died and she was 19, she has lived in the castle ever since.

One of the bedrooms in the home, with a pillow that reads "Princess sleeps here"!!!
There was an antique horse drawn carriage in one of the curio cabinets!!!
What an interesting castle!!! Life Magazine in the 1940's gave it the name Mystery Castle!!!
