We decided to stop by Babe Ruth's daughter Julia's house to have her autograph her books for us today. She was the sweetest lady and is sharp as a tack for 92!
She told us about the very famous day her dad pointed to the grandstands and then hit his home run in the world series. She still remembers every detail!
We also talked about the movies that they made about her father, and how she didn't like them. She said they didn't portray him correctly and that she hated the fact that John Goodman played her dad. She said "He was too fat! My daddy wasn't that big!!" We all then had a good laugh.It was very neat to be in a house with such great baseball history and memorabilia.
